The new X-TOUR EVO GORE-TEX® is designed for high-performance medium and long-distance touring and is the main new feature in the Touring 2016 line, emphasising the core principles of the TCX® philosophy: technology, comfort and protection. Indeed, the X-TOUR EVO GORE-TEX® is based on the innovative High Performance Fitting System, which guarantees ultimate comfort and adaptability: the double side zip fastening offers a more generous aperture at the front of the boot for an easier fit; the Velcro® strip at the rear increases the adjustment range in the calf area and the internal structure featuring an upper and padded upper collar, allows trousers to be worn inside the boot. By combining the use of D3O’s® “shock absorbing” material with a reinforced structure in the ankle and shinbone area, the new X-TOUR EVO GORE-TEX® offers the highest level of CE CERTIFICATION – ref. EN 13634:2010. In addition to the traditional safety standards, which are vital to achieving CE Certification, this new touring boot boasts the following optional requisites: IPA – IMPACT PROTECTION for the ANKLE and IPS – IMPACT PROTECTION for the SHINBONE. The X-TOUR EVO GORE-TEX® is the only motorcycle boot currently on the market to have achieved such a high level of certification and to guarantee similar levels of safety. The use of the GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort Footwear lining, which helps keep feet warm and dry at low temperatures and during open-air winter activities, makes this product ideal for use in harsh climates. The materials used for the upper are also top-quality: the soft full-grain leather with embroidered logo guarantees ultimate comfort levels.
