With the VFX-WR, SHOEI pushes the radical construction and design of its predecessor model even further. State-of-the-art shell construction technology enables the shaping for a highly stable and at the same time lightweight helmet shell with a futuristic-aggressive look. Continuous contours from the visor across the helmet shell to the back of the head ensure stability of the shell, perfect guidance of the goggle strap and an incomparable look. The new, integrated safety system M.E.D.S. (Motion Energy Distribution System) ensures the best possible reduction of rotational energy in the event of a crash.

Safety
A 6-layer composition of glass fibres, organic fibres and high-performance fibre materials forms the basis of the AIM+ outer shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) of the SHOEI VFX-WR. Together with a polystyrene inner liner composed of several elements with different absorption capacities and the new Motion Energy Distribution System (M.E.D.S), the helmet shell offers optimum impact protection, while keeping the overall weight of the helmet relatively low. In the multi-part EPS core of the SHOEI VFX-WR, flexibly connected inner shell elements reduce the risk of injury in the event of an impact by reducing rotational energy.
The chin strap with double D-lock is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet safely in place.
The EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) facilitates the removal of the cheek pads in an emergency and thus enables gentle helmet removal.

Wearing comfort
With 4 different outer shell sizes (XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL), the SHOEI VFX-WR offers a wide range of sizes for adult or youth riders and the optimum mix of lowest possible helmet weight and maximum stability. With its mass centralization, it makes a noticeable contribution to relieving the neck muscles and enables a concentrated, focused ride hard on the limit, but still easy on the neck muscles, over many laps on the motocross track.
The center pad, which is contoured for highly effective ventilation, and the three-dimensionally pre-shaped cheek pads with their quick-drying and skin-friendly covers made of Max-Dry material, as well as the chin strap padding, are completely removable and washable. For individual adjustment of the SHOEI VFX-WR, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses.

Ventilation
7 air inlets provide the wearer with sufficient fresh air for maximum athletic performance. 8 air outlets transport used air to the outside. The large nose cover of the SHOEI VFX-WR is equipped with a metal grid and a replaceable filter insert to prevent dust, dirt and stones from entering.

Aerodynamics
The radically designed, three-dimensionally shaped outer shell of the SHOEI VFX-WR is highly dimensionally stable thanks to its ribbed structure and offers reliable goggle strap guidance. The helmet shield, seamlessly integrated into the contour of the helmet shell, corresponds with its ventilation openings.

Accessories
The SHOEI range of accessories includes cheek pads and head pads in various sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or to individually adjust the helmet. Also available are a chin strap cover, a mud guard, an anti-reflective sticker and fastening screws for the helmet shield, as well as filter inserts for the mouthpiece. With helmet shields and mouthpieces in a variety of colors and decors, the SHOEI VFX-WR can be customised.
